When you pay for your order, you must specify if you want it insured or uninsured. If you do not indicate that you want it insured, it will be sent uninsured and any loss or damages will be your responsibility.
INSURANCE AND CUSTOMS DUTIES:
All non-U.S. customers need to pay the actual cost of sending your order, plus $2.00 for the packaging materials and an invoice mailed to you. All U.S. customer’s shipping is Free.
If anything happens to an insured package, it is protected by insurance. A claim can be filed with the postal carrier in the event the items are lost or damaged. NOTE: The carrier will want to keep your damaged items if you file a claim.
CUSTOMS: It is likely that you will be charged customs duties on your purchases if they are sent insured although, uninsured packages can incur the same fees. These fees, such as VAT fees, are charged by your country, and we have no control over whether it is charged or not. You the buyer will be responsible for paying any fees charged.
If your package is damaged or lost, when you choose to go uninsured, it will be your responsibility. The chance of this happening is unlikely, but can happen. If it does, you will have no recourse, because you did not insure the package.
